I have a Dell Precision 5510 (a workstation version of the XPS15) with a 4k full gamut color touchscreen display. I’m learning Capture One 9 Pro. I’m trying to determine if I could get by with a pen on the touchscreen for post processing or if a Wacom tablet is still the recommended way to go. Considering that I’m a IT professional, I really do not like to be at a desk or table using a computer when I’m home. I much prefer using my laptop in a comfortable chair. Thus my reluctance to using a tablet hooked up to the laptop. Trying to balance a tablet on the arm rest while using a pen on it I believe would be more difficult than a pen on the touchscreen. I will probably try a pen on the screen first but was wondering if Capture One supports this.

Wacom Tablet Capture One
It’s a little less expensive than the entry level Wacom tablets but has more features, and works well with capture one. The only thing I’ve noticed is when it’s connecting wirelessly there’s a bit of a lag but when it’s wired it’s great. Ensures that you will find the manual you are looking for in no time.
